We walk the coast we sell

Wild Walkers Africa Adventures is a small tours company working from Malindi and Mombasa on the Kenyan coast. The name says what we love most: getting out of the vehicle and into the place.

We started with walking — forest trails in Arabuko Sokoke, the mangrove boardwalks of Mida Creek, the lanes of Old Mombasa. From there the trips grew the way guests asked for them: dhow days on the marine parks, ruin walks at Gedi, day safaris into Tsavo, and multi-day trips that join the reef to the bush.

Our guides live where they work. They know which tide fills the creek, which corner of the forest the elephant shrews prefer, and which market stall does the best sugarcane juice. That local knowledge is the product — everything else is logistics we handle for you.

How we work

What you can expect

Walking is our home ground

The company started with forest and village walks. Guides know the trails, the tides and the birds by name.

Real local knowledge

Malindi, Watamu and Mombasa are home, not a stop on a route. We take you to the places we'd take friends.

Plans that bend

Tide shifted? Flight delayed? We reshuffle the day rather than cancel it.

Straight answers on price

You get the full price before you commit — park fees, pick-up and lunch spelled out.

Where we are

Two bases, one coast

We run tours from Malindi in the north and Mombasa in the south — which means Watamu, Kilifi, Gedi, Marafa, the marine parks, Shimba Hills and Tsavo are all day-trip distance for us.

Tell us where you're staying and we'll say honestly whether your plan works better from Malindi or Mombasa, and arrange pick-up either way.
