The day, step by step

05:30Early pick-up

From Malindi, Watamu or Mombasa. Early start, big rewards — the cats move at dawn.

08:30Enter Tsavo East

Through the gate and straight into game drive along the Galana river circuit.

12:30Lodge lunch

Lunch at a lodge overlooking a waterhole — game often comes to you.

14:00Aruba Dam circuit

Afternoon drive past Aruba Dam — elephant, buffalo, giraffe and often lion.

17:30Drive back

Exit the park and return to the coast, arriving about 18:30–19:00.
